Waitress -Arabic Speaker

Kitopi is seeking an Arabic-speaking Waitress to support restaurant service in Sharjah. The role focuses on friendly guest interaction, accurate order taking and the timely delivery of food and drinks. The successful candidate will help guests understand menu choices, maintain a clean dining area and coordinate closely with the kitchen and service team to provide a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus and help them feel comfortable at their tables.
• Communicate in Arabic with guests as needed and use clear, courteous communication with colleagues and customers.
• Take orders accurately, confirm special requests and pass information to the kitchen or bar without delay.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly, checking that orders match the guest's request.
• Answer questions about menu items and recommend dishes or daily specials based on guest preferences.
• Maintain clean, organised tables and dining areas throughout the shift.
• Work with kitchen and bar colleagues to support smooth service and reduce unnecessary waiting.
• Address guest concerns calmly and involve a supervisor when further assistance is required.
• Suggest appropriate add-ons or menu items where suitable, without pressuring guests.

Requirements and Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in customer service or food and beverage operations.
• Arabic-speaking ability suitable for communicating with guests.
• Good interpersonal skills and a helpful, guest-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Willingness to follow hygiene, food-safety and workplace procedures.
