Project Manager (Senior Specialist)

Job Overview

Khalifa University is hiring a Project Manager (Senior Specialist) within Administration, Facilities and EHS. Reporting to the Manager, Space & Projects Planning, the position manages campus development, space-planning, renovation and facilities projects from initiation through handover while controlling scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects through design, execution, handover and close-out.
• Control scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, costs, risks, deliverables and reporting.
• Manage educational-facility, campus-development, space-planning, renovation and operational projects.
• Assess buildings and sites and recommend modifications, specifications and appropriate use of space.
• Gather user requirements and coordinate consultants, contractors, internal teams, authorities and government entities.
• Review designs, technical submissions and contractor deliverables against standards, budgets and schedules.
• Support procurement through scopes of work, tender evaluations, contract administration, specifications and SLAs.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor quality, performance, risk and vendor compliance.
• Ensure safety, sustainability, environmental performance and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of space planning, project delivery and facilities/building systems.
• Familiarity with Smart Pass and Abu Dhabi government project-submission procedures is desirable.
• Strong project-management, coordination, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
