Picker

The Picker consolidates online customer orders by selecting items from the correct locations, scanning products and checking quality and expiry dates. The role supports complete, accurate fulfilment and maintains an organised picking and putaway area for efficient store operations. The successful candidate will contribute to dependable day-to-day delivery and maintain a professional approach when dealing with colleagues, customers, partners or service providers. Work should be completed accurately, on time and in line with applicable company procedures. Order accuracy is central to customer trust. The picker should work carefully and efficiently, follow scanning and quality procedures and raise any system or product-location issue before it affects an order.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick each order by scanning items and confirming the correct products.
• Check product quality and expiry dates against store standards.
• Confirm out-of-stock items with the responsible section.
• Report incorrect selections and provide feedback to improve picking accuracy.
• Keep the putaway area organised and return unused equipment to storage.
• Report barcode, product-image, location or system issues to the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience
