Description
The bus-driver role supports safe and dependable passenger transport according to assigned routes and schedules. It requires a strong focus on road safety, passenger care, vehicle checks and timely communication. The driver is expected to operate responsibly, follow traffic rules and report any vehicle or route concerns without delay. The successful candidate is expected to approach assigned work professionally, follow established procedures and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure passengers board and exit safely and communicate routine travel information clearly.
- Observe traffic regulations, site requirements and company procedures while driving and parking.
- Maintain a clean vehicle, accurate trip records and any required fuel or mileage documentation.
- Report delays, incidents, route changes or passenger concerns promptly to the designated coordinator.
- Operate the assigned bus safely and follow approved routes, pickup points and departure times.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks, reporting defects or maintenance needs before the vehicle is used again.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid driving licence and any professional passenger-transport permit required for the operating location.
