Server Side Swift Developer – Level Shoes

This role owns the backend services that support Level Shoes digital commerce across GCC markets. The Server-Side Swift Developer will design, build, review and operate Vapor-based microservices for customer accounts, catalogue, cart, checkout, payments and orders, with reliability and performance treated as part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production services in Swift and Vapor with clear APIs and dependable operational behaviour.
• Build integrations with commerce, order management, search, content, payment and buy-now-pay-later systems, including resilient webhook handling.
• Use MongoDB, Redis and Elasticsearch effectively, with careful data modelling, caching, indexing and query performance.
• Apply concurrency-safe and idempotent processing so replicated services do not duplicate important actions.
• Support feature flags, progressive releases, Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD, monitoring and evidence-led incident investigation.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Six or more years of software development experience, including at least three years building server-side Swift/Vapor services.
• Strong Swift concurrency, protocol-oriented design, Codable, REST API, authentication, testing and cloud engineering knowledge.
• Practical experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, AWS, payment integrations and multi-market or multilingual systems.
