Lead, Transformation Testing

The Lead, Transformation Testing provides technical leadership for the testing workstream of a business transformation programme. The role helps establish a comprehensive quality approach across manual and automated testing, validates configuration and system behaviour, and coordinates test plans and execution through key project phases. Close collaboration with business, technology, implementation partners and end users is central to successful delivery.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the existing testing approach and define a practical testing strategy, scope and quality standards.
• Establish or improve automated testing frameworks and ensure appropriate tools and environments are configured.
• Oversee the preparation, review and execution of test plans, test cases, scripts and evidence.
• Coordinate defects, retesting, dependencies, entry/exit criteria and issue escalation across workstreams.
• Work with functional and technical leads and end users to confirm that the SAP solution meets business and technical requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong experience in quality assurance, enterprise-system testing or transformation programmes.
• Practical knowledge of manual and automated test methods, test management and defect resolution.
• Ability to lead a testing team, manage priorities and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Structured documentation, analytical thinking and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Skills and Competencies
