Loss Prevention Assistant Manager

Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies. Supports incident response, risk mitigation, and enforcement of company policies with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol all areas of the property to maintain a safe environment
• Secure rooms, assist guests with room access, and handle key control audits
• Conduct safety inspections, emergency drills, and incident investigations
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems; document and authorize access to restricted areas
• Respond to accidents and emergencies, providing first aid/CPR or contacting EMS as needed
• Complete detailed reports, maintain confidentiality, and release information only to authorized personnel
• De-escalate disturbances and escort unauthorized persons off property
• Enforce alcohol control laws and handle guest or employee complaints with professionalism
• Support management in staff training, coaching, and policy enforcement
• Follow all safety protocols, maintain a professional appearance, and protect company assets

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and 75+ lbs with assistance
• Able to stand, walk, run, climb stairs, bend, twist, and move through confined or elevated spaces
• Capable of reading small print and operating computers and communication systems
• Must remain alert and responsive for extended shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: 2+ years in security or safety-related roles
• Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 1 year
• Licenses/Certifications: None specified (state-specific licensing may apply)
