Description
The Senior Civil Supervisor oversees civil maintenance or construction tasks at site level, coordinating workers and checking that work follows specifications, schedules and safety requirements. The role involves monitoring progress, resolving routine site issues and communicating constraints to the project or maintenance lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan daily civil activities and allocate work based on priorities and team capability.
- Inspect workmanship, materials and completed tasks against drawings or agreed specifications.
- Coordinate with other trades to resolve access, sequencing or interface issues.
- Monitor progress and report delays, material shortages or quality concerns.
- Reinforce site safety, housekeeping and correct use of protective equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates should have civil site experience and the ability to coordinate a team. Reading drawings, inspecting work and communicating with other trades are important. Formal trade or technical qualifications should match the assigned supervisory scope.
