Technician – Civil

The Technician - Civil supports building and facility maintenance by carrying out assigned civil repair and upkeep work. Tasks may include inspecting finishes, repairing minor defects, preparing surfaces and assisting with restoration. Accurate work and safe coordination with occupants and other trades help protect facilities and reduce disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned areas and identify civil defects or maintenance requirements.
• Carry out authorized repair tasks involving surfaces, fixtures, finishes or related building elements.
• Prepare materials and tools and protect nearby areas before work starts.
• Check completed work for quality and clean the area after the task.
• Report larger defects, material requirements or risks needing specialist attention.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates should have practical civil maintenance or construction skills relevant to the assigned tasks. Trade training and experience with common repair methods are useful. Follow site access, work-permit and safety requirements.
