Makeup Artist – Yves Saint Laurent, The Grove

The role provides expert makeup and beauty advice in a premium retail environment and turns each consultation into a memorable customer experience. The colleague will combine product knowledge, demonstration skills and commercial discipline while representing Yves Saint Laurent, The Grove.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, understand their preferences and recommend products or routines that suit their needs.
• Demonstrate products clearly, explain benefits and create a confident, personalised consultation.
• Work towards line, sell-out and sales targets while tracking performance and participating in store incentives.
• Maintain brand presentation, merchandising levels, counter or shelf standards and accurate product availability.
• Replenish stock, report shortages, follow receiving procedures and prepare accurate daily sales or activity updates. Additional focus includes build and maintain guest experience standards in order to build strong loyalty; address customers' queries about products, prices, availability, product uses, and services; communicate with customers to assess their needs, provide assistance in satisfying those needs and meeting or surpassing customers expectations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant experience in beauty, makeup, fragrance or premium retail, with strong product knowledge for the assigned category.
• A polished service style, confident spoken English, attention to detail and the ability to build trust quickly.
• Practical capability across makeup application and an understanding of skincare and fragrance is valuable.

Employment Details

This is a full-time position with Chalhoub Group in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. Retail-facing roles may include rotating shifts, evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.
