Makeup Artist – Yves Saint Laurent, Dubai Hills Mall

The Makeup Artist role represents Yves Saint Laurent beauty at Dubai Hills Mall. The successful candidate will combine makeup expertise, skincare and fragrance awareness, and premium customer service to help customers select products suited to their needs. The position also supports sales performance, new product launches, merchandising and the daily standards required at a luxury beauty counter.

Job Overview

This position contributes to the customer, commercial or operational goals of Chalhoub Group. The successful candidate will carry out the responsibilities below while working with relevant colleagues and following established policies, standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable makeup, skincare and fragrance products.
• Demonstrate application techniques, finishes and product benefits, offering personalised beauty advice.
• Work toward sales and line targets and contribute to daily performance reporting and store incentives.
• Maintain counter cleanliness, product presentation, testers and merchandising in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor stock, replenish shelves, report shortages and follow procedures for receiving and displaying products.

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in the beauty industry, with exposure to makeup, skincare and fragrance.
• Strong knowledge of luxury retail service standards and customer consultation.
• Good spoken English; additional languages can be an advantage.
• Ability to present products confidently, maintain grooming standards and work effectively within a team.
