Shift Manager – Base Maintenance

Job Overview

Air Arabia is seeking a Shift Manager for Base Maintenance to support the management and monitoring of base maintenance activities on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft. The position focuses on safe and compliant maintenance execution, certification, documentation and effective manpower allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor base maintenance activities within the applicable aircraft type rating.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed, certified and recorded accurately and on time.
• Coordinate manpower planning, task allocation and resource utilisation.
• Monitor maintenance progress and resolve operational or technical issues.
• Ensure adherence to approved maintenance procedures, safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, stores and other operational teams.
• Support efficient turnaround of maintenance inputs and achievement of business objectives.

Requirements

• Relevant aircraft maintenance engineering qualification/licence.
• Experience in base maintenance and team supervision.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
