About The Role: We are currently recruiting for Welfare and Support Coordinator, within Ground Services in Doha. The successful candidate will support the Ground Services – Welfare Support function, through the coordination and delivery of tasks related to welfare assistance. You will ensure the employee relations and maintenance of data in electronic and physical format. You will provide timely support to all Ground Services employees and partners while maintaining the highest quality in terms of services offered and work performed. Key Accountabilities Include:
  • Coordinate and conduct follow-ups for QRC appointments on behalf of employees, plan and facilitate welfare checks and visits as per established SLAs.
  • Create, update and maintain documents, databases as per the tasks performed within the scope of the department.
  • Monitor and extend support related to issues related to company accommodation, medical concerns, Leave requests, emergency matters, the Overtime, Time and Attendance, Separation, etc to increase satisfactions of Ground Services employees.
  • Ensure that procedures, requirements and updates receives from Management or HR are documented and maintained as per audit requirements in line with company policy.
  • Draft professional and effective written communication to the Ground Services staff in terms of department updates, revised policies, SOP. In addition maintain professional verbal communication to all Ground Services staff who contacted via a call and visited the office with the utmost curtesy.
  • Respond to emails and queries from the Ground Services staff, partner departments and Management in a timely manner to ensure that necessary information is disseminated accurately.
  • Facilitate the timely processing of lost documents, passport, RP for the Ground Services staff, especially when the same are lost/misplaced/stolen overseas.
  • Foster and maintain excellent relations with the Ground Services staff, team members, internal departments and relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform other department duties related to the position as directed by the heads of the department to ensure efficient and professional services are provided at all time.
  • Support related to email and written correspondence pertaining to the requirements of the management, Group HR offices, QRC, etc to ensure the smooth running of the business.
  • Independently manages multiple tasks whilst respecting the deadlines and simultaneously ensuring the integrity of all information and data.

  • High School or Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification with, minimum 3 years of job related experience.
Job Specific Skills:
  • Applicable knowledge of QR policies, HR policies, internal LOP, Ground Services operation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with employees, management, Group HR offices, QRC, medical professionals, embassies and outstation stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal and people skills to effectively address and communicate with the Ground Services staff, team members, management, Group HR offices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local policies surrounding immigrations, fines, waivers, visa, lost documents.
  • Time management skills to ensure that all relevant documentation, processing and approvals are secured that may be required on a daily basis
  • Ability to foster teamwork. Flexible and be able to adapt to multi-cultural work environment.
  • Ability to prepare reports, memos and drafts for Senior Management perusal.
  • Adherence to shifts work
Preferred:
  • Arabic – Proficient in Written and verbal communication.
