About the Role:

This role reports to the EVP, Head of Product – Retail Assets and is responsible for leading and managing the mortgage loan sales division. The Head of Sales – Mortgage Loans drives strategic growth, customer acquisition, and revenue generation in alignment with the bank’s retail banking objectives. The role oversees direct sales teams, develops aggregator and broker relationships, and ensures compliance with UAE banking regulations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Define and implement sales strategies to grow the mortgage loan portfolio.
  • Drive market share expansion through innovative campaigns and partnerships.
  • Monitor and manage P&L for the mortgage sales vertical.
  • Identify new business opportunities and channels (e.g., aggregators, real estate developers).
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to tailor offerings to market needs.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of mortgage sales professionals.
  • Set performance targets and monitor KPIs.
  • Provide coaching and training to enhance team capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Promote cross-selling of other bank products.
  • Ensure adherence to UAE Central Bank regulations and internal policies.
  • Implement robust documentation and risk control procedures.
  • Maintain audit readiness and operational transparency.
  • Leverage digital platforms and CRM tools to optimize sales processes.
  • Support integration of AI and data analytics for lead generation and performance tracking.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10–12 years of experience in mortgage sales for retail banking in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE mortgage market, products, and regulatory environment.
  • Familiarity with Islamic finance principles is a plus.

Skills:

  • Tech-savvy with experience in CRM and digital banking tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Strong understanding of UAE mortgage regulations and Islamic banking principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales acumen and negotiation abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proven leadership in managing large sales teams and achieving targets.
