Description

Drive the development and implementation of ENOC’s technology strategy and enterprise architecture landscape, in line with ENOC’s corporate governance, strategy, vision, mission, and objectives.  Lead the design and implementation of GIT’s governance and performance management frameworks to enable effective delivery of services and manage technology risks and issues. Lead and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders and business segment IT Heads.

Principal Accountabilities

Strategy/Governance 
•Lead the design and effective monitoring of the GIT strategy in order to enable ENOC to achieve its organizational vision, mission and strategic objectives.
•Oversee the implementation of governance programs, committees and bodies within GIT.
Operational 
•Lead technology strategic investments and priorities. 
•Oversee the enterprise architecture practice and standards across ENOC.
•Lead the development of the technology strategy, initiatives roadmap and KPIs across ENOC.  
•Lead the transformation and change management planning for all strategic initiatives.
•Oversee and lead the IT value strategy to shape the direction of IT, align the overall shareholder business vision and objectives and drive measurable improvements.  
•Lead the enterprise governance practice for IT and OT.
•Oversee the development and implementation of the governance framework and obligations, compliance strategies as well as existing and emerging risks.
•Oversee the identification of real and potential risks emerging from organisational structure or process changes, new technologies, or new activities, in order to appropriately target risk mitigation strategies. 
•Lead the performance management and financial operations processes for GIT. 
•Oversee adherence to SLA’s and KPI’s on a monthly and quarterly basis, identify performance gaps and ramifications, and lead the development of corrective actions that tackle root causes.
•Lead service management, quality and performance.
•Lead vendor and supplier management.
•Oversee strategic relationship with key business stakeholders in order to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business strategies and requirements.
•Explore new and emerging technologies to create a vision of how technology will shape the future and invent the next wave of cutting-edge business solutions.
•Lead development and continues improvements of the IT operating model and IT manpower needs and plans.
Financial Management 
•Review and approve the IT strategy and governance budget.
•Manage and report on IT strategy and governance financial spending.
•Oversee the development of IT strategy and governance initiatives TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI (Return on Investment).
People and Talent Management
•Formulate workforce planning reports and talent acquisition plans.
•Set performance management objectives for all reportees and perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
•Oversee the team’s productivity to achieve the set KPIs and service levels.
•Oversee the enhancement of team members’ knowledge, skills, and performance. 
•Manage and resolve team conflicts. 
Stakeholder Management
•Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders and customers to achieve objectives.  

Additional Principal Accountabilities

Experience

Education
•Degree: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems (or other relevant technical disciplines).
•MBA or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems is preferable.
•Required professional certifications: Industry certification in IT Governance (CGEIT, COBIT 5, etc.), and program/project management (e.g. PRINCE II, PMP, etc.).
•Preferred professional certifications: IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL, etc.).
Experience 
•15+ years of Information Technology experience.
•6+ years in relevant experience.
.Working experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
•Working experience in multiple industries (e.g. Energy, Utilities, Retail, Government…) is preferable.
•Working experience in strategic transformation and major programs.
•Working experience establishing, developing, operating and governing IT functions.
•Working experience in investment portfolio and financial management.
•Working experience and knowledge on various supplier products and services.
