KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage vendors who may be engaged to assist in developing new initiatives and ensure the delivery of predefines outcomes from the vendors.
- Provide documentation that shows the linkages between individual projects and the Department’s strategic plan and the Departmental priorities.
- Provide a high level Change Management role within the Department.
- Provide Benefits Realization reporting on the achievement of projects, post-implementation, that measures and defines the success of projects in meeting objectives.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate
- Ensure the creation of industry standards that include measurable objectives and KPIs.
- Provide routine progress briefings on the development of defined projects to the Department.
- Ensure project deadlines and objectives are met to pre-defined requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders and service partners.
- Manage the development of projects that may involve resources from multiple-disciplines, such as IT, policies, products, service delivery.
- Develop forward plans (road maps) that align with the Department’s priorities.
- Analyze current customer service performance and provide gap analysis. Identify and recommend policies & procedures that meet the customer’s and Department’s needs.
- Develop and manage SLAs relating to services provided by vendors, stakeholders or partners.
- Provide high quality project management services to the Department that align to standard PM methodology including the development of timelines and standards project documentation.
- Perform research market and customer segmentation to identify customer needs.
- Establish and develop new products/services that meet the needs of customers and the Agency’s legislative requirements.
- Represent the Department in the Agency’s project management meetings, meeting functions and events.
- Provide high quality briefings and reports to the department (written, verbally and by formal presentation).
- Monitor project performance post implementation and assist operations management where required.
