About the role

As a Senior UX Writer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how content enhances the customer experience across digital platforms. You’ll lead content strategy and design for complex product journeys, define scalable frameworks, and contribute to the evolution of our content design practice. You will report to the Vice President, Content Design and collaborate with Designers, Researchers, Product Managers, Developers, and Cross-Functional Teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead content strategy and execution across web and app experiences.
• Define and implement best practices, frameworks, and guidelines for content design.
• Write, edit, test, and iterate content including microcopy, components, and flows.
• Collaborate with UX designers to shape information architecture and journey narratives.
• Partner with researchers to translate insights into actionable content improvements.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Co-lead localisation efforts with Arabic content colleagues to ensure inclusive and aligned messaging.
• Champion RAKBANK’s tone of voice and ensure consistent application across products.
• Contribute to and help govern content within our design system (Figma).
• Elevate standards in accessibility, localisation, and inclusive design.
• Mentor mid-level content designers, providing feedback and guidance.
• Advocate for customer needs and contribute to the broader UX and design culture.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in content design, preferably within digital banking or regulated industries.
