Senior Manager – Technical Services

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate strategic vision, goals, and objectives in alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, effectively to support project priorities and meet organizational goals.
• Provide technical direction and guidance, ensuring the use of best practices, methodologies, and technologies to drive innovation and achieve technical excellence.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as product management, marketing, and sales, to align engineering efforts with business needs, customer requirements, and market opportunities.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with engineering projects, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate the performance of engineering teams and individual team members, provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to support professional growth and ensure high performance.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, customers, partners, and regulatory agencies, to understand their needs, gather feedback, and communicate engineering initiatives and achievements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department, including process optimization, efficiency improvements, and adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance productivity and innovation.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC Engineering or any other relevant field.
• 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proven Experience in Water Park or Theme Park Operations would be desirable
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Experience working in aquatic facilities / pools – water quality
• Familiarity working with Mechanical, Electrical, or HAVAC Engineering
• Desirable – CPO Instructor
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
• Experience in budget management, preventive maintenance planning, and CAPEX projects
