Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially savvy Senior Manager – Commercial Management to join our Commercial team. The role focuses on driving profitability, protecting commercial interests, and managing risk throughout the contract lifecycle—from pre-tender to post-contract delivery. This role requires a proactive leader with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, capable of providing strategic support to internal stakeholders across multiple business verticals.
Key Responsibilities
Financial- Identify and assess financial and contractual risks related to client engagements and advise senior management accordingly.
- Evaluate existing contracts to enhance client satisfaction and optimize contract value and margin.
- Review all tender documentation, including performance bonds and financial securities, to ensure compliance and mitigate financial exposure.
- Approve or reject credit notes that have a P&L impact across the group.
- Develop client risk profiles and contract feasibility assessments to support decision-making.
- Lead contract negotiation, drafting, and closure, ensuring a profitable and risk-balanced outcome.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to drive business development, offering commercial guidance for sustainable growth.
- Represent Commercial in review meetings with Finance and Business Unit Heads, advising on opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide strategic commercial support to a range of business units, including:

- Facilities Management
- Construction Services
- Logistics & Delivery

- Workforce Solutions
- Cash Transit Services
- Ensure all new business opportunities follow proper risk assessment and approval workflows.
- Review all RFPs, RFIs, and tenders, highlighting major risks and financial implications to relevant teams.
- Partner with the Legal team to ensure all agreements comply with UAE laws and internal governance policies.
- Ensure adherence to the authority matrix on pricing, documentation, and contractual obligations.
- Promote commercial awareness across the organization by supporting the training and upskilling of operational managers.
- Develop procedures to minimize exposure when operating without finalized documentation (e.g., LOAs, POs).
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Business Units to ensure SLAs and KPIs are contractually sound and operationally realistic.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in contract/commercial/account management in a B2B environment, preferably across multiple service lines.
- Strong background in commercial negotiation, risk assessment, and contract drafting.
- Demonstrated experience in managing both pre- and post-contractual obligations and driving profitability across complex service agreements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and Oracle ERP systems.
- Strong commercial and legal acumen with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multifunctional teams.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and results-driven mindset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
