Senior Dealer – Money Markets

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven professional to join our Treasury team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside passionate colleagues who are redefining excellence in UAE banking.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor financial performance against budget, identifying and addressing underperformance while leveraging opportunities for improvement
• Diversify the Bank’s deposit base prudently and anticipate periods of surplus or tight liquidity to implement effective funding strategies
• Execute interest rate and FX swaps to hedge and manage liquidity and interest rate risks
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Treasury clients and inter-dealer banks to guide and price funding through customer deposits and ECP/CD markets
• Manage the Bank’s funding pipeline to ensure support for evolving balance sheet needs
• Submit accurate and timely daily reports to management and relevant business areas
• Oversee all NOSTRO accounts to ensure optimal balance utilization and proper funding
• Implement and ensure adherence to departmental policies, processes, and procedures, maintaining service quality and regulatory compliance

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in money markets, FX, and interest rate derivatives (IRD) trading within a reputable international financial institution
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Science from a recognized global institution
• Expertise:
  • Deep knowledge of money markets and Islamic finance principles
  • Strong understanding of the Central Bank of the UAE’s monetary framework
  • Experience with money market instruments, FX products, and interest rate derivatives
  • Ability to independently model future cash flow positions
• Skills:
  • Proven relationship management with local and international banking counterparts
  • Familiarity with systems such as Murex, Bloomberg, and Reuters Eikon
