Senior Baggage and PLB Services Officer (Qatari Only)

About the role:

Hamad International Airport is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team Senior Baggage and PLB Services Officer. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, possess excellent customer service experience, communication skills, stakeholder management and can help us to achieve this ambition by:

• Attending and resolving problems related to baggage handling, passenger loading bridge (PLB) and, bridge mounted equipment (BME) services.
• Responsible for the coordination with MOI and Customs to ensure expected customer experience, smooth operations and optimized resources utilization.
• Facilitate and coordinate with government agencies on operational requirements and procedures.
• Contribute and ensure timely production of accurate incident reports, shift reports, and safety reports
• Ensure safe operation of al PLBs, BMEs, baggage handling equipment and systems including ancillary facilities.

About you:

• Relevant College or University qualification to min bachelor’s level or equivalent.
• Bachelor's in information technology, Computer Engineer or Computer Science.
• More than 1 year working experience in an organization larger than 200 employees (preferred).
• High discipline, Strong Leadership, Customer Oriented, Result Driven, Self-motivated.
• IT literate and has proficient knowledge in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to conduct training and giving presentation (for topics in the direct line of work) in front of large group of audience in English language.
• Ability to prepare clear and concise report.
• Negotiation skills, assertiveness, convincing and service- oriented manner with internal and external stake holders.
• Project Management skill.
• High level of flexibility and adaptability. Able to work in any shift, and odd hours when required.
