Role Responsibility

SCHOOL SITE MANAGER

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm

Location: Abbeyfield School, North Wiltshire, N15 3XB

G4S Facilities Management is looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to lead operations at Abbeyfield School. This vital role is about more than just managing a site; it's about being a skilled professional with proven line management experience who can effectively lead, support, and inspire a team. You'll ensure our facilities consistently meet high contractual standards and deliver exceptional service through strong customer care, teamwork, and cross-departmental collaboration. As a key part of our FM team, you'll ensure the site not only meets but exceeds service requirements for both G4S and our client.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the site to meet contractual SLAs, KPIs, and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and manage tasks via the Concept system, ensuring timely completion.
  • Coordinate planned and reactive cleaning and maintenance, stepping in when needed.
  • Handle emergencies, assess issues, and liaise with suppliers for repairs.
  • Oversee Health & Safety, manage permits, and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
  • Maintain comprehensive site records and manage incidents, accidents, and audits.
  • Assist with reporting, monthly statistics, and project delivery.
  • Line manage and train site staff, ensuring compliance with training and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate community use and third-party lettings with the school.
  • Support Senior Management and cover for other Site Managers as required.

Essential

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in operational facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Permit to Work procedures.
  • IOSH Managing Safety qualification.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Demonstrable line management experience.
  • Strong customer care and collaboration skills.
