Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to oversee and support the delivery of low voltage security system projects. The role ensures successful execution through proper planning, coordination, and communication across stakeholders, with a focus on quality, safety, and budget control. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of security systems, strong organizational capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Performance- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all client requirements
- Coordinate with Project Managers on status updates, cash flow, and scheduling
- Maximize resource utilization and earned value across labor, materials, and subcontracted services
- Integrate quality and safety protocols during planning and throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure installed systems comply with the agreed scope and client specifications
- Monitor compliance with company standards and strategic objectives
- Communicate key project information to clients and internal teams
- Develop and execute communication plans detailing escalation paths and reporting formats
- Attend client meetings and accurately capture requirements and action items
- Manage project documentation lifecycle using designated file systems
- Maintain up-to-date records within project management platforms (e.g., MIS)
- Support timely invoicing and financial reporting including cost, revenue, and margin tracking
- Adhere to and support company policies, PMO processes, and strategic goals
- Identify areas to contribute positively to business unit growth and efficiency
🎓 Selection Criteria
Education- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination or project management within the low voltage security systems industry
- Proven experience handling systems such as Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarms, Intercoms, Gate Barriers, Intruder Alarms, and network configurations
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptable to organizational change
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
