Description

Job Purpose

To support the development and execution of the product strategy for Al Islami Personal Finance. This includes coordinating and implementing operational plans to ensure the product meets its strategic, financial, and customer-centric objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing product strategies to ensure the comprehensive achievement of Al Islami Personal Finance's strategic goals.
  • Coordinate the delivery and monitor the achievement of product profitability targets.
  • Ensure seamless execution of new product propositions, including related processes and systems.
  • Maintain records of customer transaction documents approved by the Fatwa & Sharia Supervisory Board (FSSB) and the Legal Department to ensure full compliance with Sharia and legal guidelines.
  • Identify and implement revenue generation and cost optimization initiatives to enhance product profitability.
  • Support improvements in processes, systems, turnaround time (TAT), and documentation to strengthen the overall product offering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Operations, Credit, IT, Business Process Automation (BPA), Sharia, Legal, Audit, and Collections—to achieve sales, profitability, and product positioning objectives.
  • Coordinate the timely and effective rollout of marketing communications and promotional campaigns, addressing acquisition seasonality and competitive activities.
  • Facilitate resolution of customer issues related to process breakdowns or policy interpretations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Strengthen relationships with third-party vendors to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and assist in formulating responsive strategies to maintain competitive positioning.
  • Identify business opportunities and challenges, propose action plans, and ensure effective implementation to achieve strategic objectives.

Competencies / Skills

Education
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred: MBA in Marketing, Finance, or a related field
Experience
  • 4–6 years of relevant work experience in retail banking, with a strong focus on product management, consumer behavior, marketing, and product development
