An exciting opportunity to join the Qatar Airways GBS Finance Services - Sales to Cash team as Manager Payment Solutions. This role is expected to drive and lead a team responsible for executing the payments strategy across the group, working closely with Commercial, Digital and other key stakeholders internally in meeting cost reduction hurdles, while at the same time working with external partners in delivering payment solutions that monetize our volumes, through payment choice for our customers. Driving consolidation and prioritization of payment initiatives across geography, product and channel aligned to broader payments strategy is a key deliverable for this role.

Your Duties Would Include:
- Lead team responsible for execution of establishing payment solutions across businesses including Digital, Commercial, Loyalty and Ancillaries within QR Group and across all geographies.
- Represent QR Group for Payments in driving channel agnostic innovation through payment acceptance, issuance and processing across all geographies and business lines, including but not limited to Commercial & Digital.
- Accountable for contract and vendor management of payment related activity & solutions to deliver of cost optimization initiatives and deliver revenue enhancing solutions across our payment channels irrespective of geography.
- Deliver visibility on performance measurement and implement optimization initiatives across payments landscape with QR Group, and be senior representative in delivering the business results to Executive within Digital, Commercial and Ancillaries.
- Responsible for the provision of payment solutions on both a local and global basis taking into account geographic, compliance and commercial sensitivities across QR Group. This will involve working with Legal and Compliance and possibly some external regulators in understanding our obligations and ensuring adherence.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure continued evolution of payment solutions.
- Engage payment partners in early identification of payment trends that could enhance our payment offering, reduce costs or improve customer experience. This includes gauging local market nuances through leveraging of a strong internal network across QR Group.
- Be recognized and take lead as subject matter expert in Payments across all channels within QR Group and represent the organization at senior speaking engagements within the payments industry.
- Lead and drive prioritization efforts across different stakeholders and partners in order to deliver on budget for Payments across the geographies and channels we operate.
- Synthesize and leverage payment related data to drive sustainable commercial outcomes across all payment channels.
- Payments’ compliance – stand up payment solutions that meet the highest standards of payment compliance as defined by regulatory regimes in the markets in which we operate.

Qualifications
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our GBS Finance Services - Sales to Cash team. The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience
- Experience in Payments within Aviation industry.
- Ability to negotiate and work within a multi-national and multi-cultural environment with excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to develop senior internal and external networks.
- Ability to challenge and change the status quo & driving change.
- Strong payments knowledge across the travel landscape.
- Connectivity to payment partners and providers.
- Experience in preparing, engaging and driving contractual negotiations with Global payment providers.
- Ability to co-ordinate and drive project activities across departments, vendors and stakeholders.
- Understanding of payments and the broader payments ecosystem
