Description
Purpose of the Role
The Junior Creative Producer supports the end-to-end execution of creative production projects by managing timelines, resources, and cross-functional collaboration. You will serve as a key liaison between project stakeholders and the creative team to ensure seamless delivery of high-impact visual content, while also helping to develop efficient workflows and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination
- Act as the point of contact between clients or internal stakeholders and the creative team to align on project goals, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Pre-plan and coordinate shoots for creative, marketing, and product teams, including scheduling talent, locations, and crew.
- Assist during shoots with camera, lighting, and sound setup; operate secondary camera (Sony FX3, Sony Alpha A7) when needed.
- Manage creative resources and equipment availability; maintain clear production schedules.
Project Management
- Develop and maintain production timelines, track milestones, and manage budgets for multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate the flow of creative assets between departments from brief to final delivery.
- Prioritize tasks and proactively communicate shifting deadlines or project updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the traffic manager and marketing leads to assign tasks to in-house editors and animators.
Creative & Technical Support
- Prepare visual support materials such as storyboards, shot lists, and production briefs for both internal and outsourced shoots.
- Source voice-over talents, negotiate with studios or freelancers, and manage final delivery of audio assets.
- Help source photographers, videographers, stylists, props, and locations while negotiating fair terms and usage rights.
- Support the Creative Director in ensuring brand consistency and quality across all produced content.
Operations & Quality Assurance
- Maintain detailed records of project expenses, approvals, and billings for finance and procurement alignment.
- Quality-check imagery and video assets to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and production expectations.
- Build and maintain a "little black book" of trusted creatives, suppliers, and production vendors for future collaborations.
Creative Contribution
- Participate in the creative development process by contributing ideas, mood boards, research, and pitch decks.
- Stay updated on industry trends and evolving content styles to help keep shoots fresh, aspirational, and relevant.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related discipline (preferably from a film school).
- At least 1 year of experience in a production house or hands-on experience with video production, editing, or post-production.
- A strong portfolio or reel showcasing academic and/or professional creative work.
