About the Role

As we embark on a group-wide Cloud ERP Transformation project, we are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Architect with deep expertise in Retail and Food & Beverages Oracle Cloud solutions to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will play a key part in the implementation of our Cloud ERP solution for Retail and Food & Beverages operations. You will collaborate closely with our implementation partners, Oracle product teams, business stakeholders, technical teams, and the PMO to ensure the successful delivery of a Cloud ERP solution that meets business objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions for Retail and Food & Beverages operations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices and industry standards for Oracle Retail Cloud and MICROS Simphony.
  • Support business teams in process design, improvement, and management across key Retail operations — including inventory management, supply chain, warehouse management, sales, eCommerce, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Oversee the configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Retail Cloud and MICROS Simphony.
  • Validate solutions delivered by implementation partners to ensure they meet business expectations and standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle Retail Cloud, Simphony, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, and other enterprise systems.
  • Identify gaps where standard Cloud ERP functionality does not meet business needs, and propose viable workarounds or define necessary customizations.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate business users and team members on Cloud ERP functionalities.
  • Develop and enforce quality assurance processes across all stages of the ERP implementation, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and configuration guides.
  • Manage relationships with the implementation partner and Oracle product teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to Oracle Retail Cloud and Simphony to ensure smooth system operations.
  • Stay current with the latest Cloud ERP updates and industry trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support change management efforts by collaborating with business stakeholders and change management teams within Retail streams.
  • Contribute to the establishment of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Oracle Cloud ERP within the organization, defining best practices, governance models, and continuous improvement strategies for the Retail and Food & Beverages domains.

Qualifications

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with 10–12 years of overall experience working with ERP systems.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail Cloud and MICROS Simphony.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle Retail Cloud Functional Architect.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing large-scale ERP projects.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in Retail and Food & Beverages.
  • Familiarity with business processes in maintenance operations is an advantage.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in the Retail industry.
  • Professional certifications in Oracle Retail Cloud and Simphony.
