Expert – Assets Management

Provide expert guidance and strategic advice on asset management across performance, risk, sustainability, and project oversight. This role supports high-level decision-making and ensures alignment with RTA’s long-term objectives and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on the recruitment and selection of project consultants; monitor and evaluate their technical performance.
• Provide specialist input on project-related issues to the Director, ensuring early identification of strategic risks and sound engineering decisions.
• Coordinate with relevant RTA teams to implement internal and external Building Information Modelling (BIM) frameworks and manuals.
• Manage the department’s central repository of key project information and deliverables.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director or Line Manager.
• Collaborate with section managers to ensure effective implementation of RTA’s asset maintenance policies and frameworks.
• Conduct technical studies on asset sustainability and performance; report findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure departmental outputs comply with RTA’s quality standards and operational requirements.
• Review, audit, and report on feasibility studies and business cases for new assets to the Asset Management Director.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution (PhD preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in asset management or related fields.
