Chief Systems Analyst

Responsible for analyzing data related to the planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability. This role involves working with multidisciplinary teams to align technology solutions with business needs and the IT infrastructure strategy, ensuring support for current operations and readiness for future growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Design and optimize IT infrastructure solutions including data centers, networks, servers, and cloud platforms.
• Develop capacity planning, performance optimization, and disaster recovery processes.
• Identify root causes of complex infrastructure issues through systems data analysis.
• Collaborate with application and operations teams to ensure efficient infrastructure support for enterprise applications.
• Prepare analytical reports, technical documentation, and architectural blueprints.
• Develop and review infrastructure standards, policies, and strategic roadmaps.
• Integrate and manage hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud platforms such as Azure/VMware).
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Oversee infrastructure-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and strategic alignment.
• Prepare budgets and lead cost optimization initiatives for IT infrastructure.
• Adhere to RTA’s service management frameworks and global standards (e.g., ITIL).
• Manage contracts and evaluate solutions in coordination with suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor and report on KPIs and SLAs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure full compliance with RTA’s information security policies and procedures.

Information Security Compliance

• Strictly adhere to RTA Information Security policies, procedures, and processes.
• Follow data sharing guidelines for all internal and external transfers.
• Immediately report any Information Security incidents to your line manager and IT support.
• Actively participate in assigned Information Security training and awareness sessions.
• Comply with all instructions provided by your line manager in accordance with Information Security requirements.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCP/VCAP, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in IT systems analysis.
