Job Purpose

To perform high-quality mechanical and electrical diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on BMW vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards, ensuring optimal vehicle performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostics & Repairs

• Conduct inspections, diagnostic tests, and fault analysis using BMW-approved applications (e.g., ISTA), oscilloscopes, and multimeters
• Identify and resolve mechanical issues related to engines, suspensions, oil leaks, and transmissions
• Diagnose and repair computerized systems including engine and transmission controls
• Install and replace genuine BMW parts as per repair instructions

Preventive Maintenance

• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, brake service, fluid replacement, and spark plug checks
• Verify vehicle systems and subsystems for performance, reliability, and safety

Communication & Reporting

• Liaise with Team Leaders to discuss diagnostics, necessary repairs, and cost estimates
• Document service procedures and outcomes with clarity and accuracy

Quality Assurance

• Maintain BMW repair standards throughout all service tasks
• Conduct final quality checks and ensure vehicles meet showroom-ready criteria

Ad-Hoc Support

• Execute tasks assigned by the Workshop Manager that contribute to the overall performance of the workshop

Qualifications & Certifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
• Certified BMW Technician status (mandatory)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5–6 years of hands-on technician experience in an authorized dealership
• Previous work with premium automotive brands is highly desirable
