Job Description
This role is essential for ensuring the integrity and compliance of client investment instructions through mandatory verification callbacks, as per the regulations set by the Regulator.
This role is a critical control point to prevent unauthorized transactions, verify client intent, and meet regulatory obligations regarding investor protection, transparency, and due diligence.
Responsibilities include accurately documenting client confirmations, escalating discrepancies, and maintaining professional, secure, and compliant communications. The role demands efficiency, adherence to best practices, and compliance with SOPs, policies, and UAECB and SCA regulations.
Additionally, it involves creating system operating procedures, monitoring key risk indicators, and conducting regular reviews to minimize operational and risk losses.
The incumbent will collaborate closely with relationship managers in wealth management to understand client needs and resolve issues, ensuring compliance with Regulatory requirement, and internal policies.
Responsibilities
Possess 3 to 5 years of substantial banking experience in an operations environment, with a comprehensive understanding of banking products and the implications of operational risks, alongside a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Demonstrated excellent working knowledge of process design and banking systems.
Familiar with banks' SOP, Operation Procedure Manual (OPM), Procedures Manual (APPM), AML & KYC Policy, and Compliance.

Responsibilities
- Ensure to conduct call backs as trades are routed to the call back officer in FINIQ and to onboard Lombard clients based on email requests from segments.
- Conduct call backs according to the scripts designed and uploaded in the Mashriqi Intranet.
- Support the implementation of internal control and governance standards for onboarding Investment Clients.
- Ensure adherence to efficiency, best practices, and control through benchmarked service delivery and operational standards within SOPs, policies, and CB and SCA regulations.
- Be aware of Central Bank, SCA, and Compliance requirements and guide front-end staff accordingly. Create System Operating Procedures, monitor Key Risk Indicators in line with the Operational Risk framework, Business Risk policies, and Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
- Conduct regular reviews, follow-ups, and implement ongoing improvements to reduce operational and risk losses.
- Collaborate effectively with RMs in wealth to understand client needs and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance reviews and relevant updates are completed within the stipulated time period. Generate relevant MIS, follow up for closure, and update the manager on the status of various governance activities assigned.
Possess 3 to 5 years of substantial banking experience in an operations environment, with a comprehensive understanding of banking products and the implications of operational risks, alongside a proactive approach to problem-solving.
