Account Manager – Aviation Partner Solutions

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager – Aviation Partner Solutions to join our growing Aviation team. In this role, you will serve as the primary interface between Transguard and its aviation sector clients. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing client relationships, managing service delivery excellence, driving contract performance, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive account growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing client contracts.
• Understand and manage the commercial terms of the contract to ensure profitable service delivery.
• Prepare quarterly reports supported by monthly operational data to evaluate contract financial performance.
• Monitor billable vs. non-billable workforce to optimize cost efficiency.
• Highlight contract variations to the Divisional Manager and align changes with client expectations.
• Ensure accurate monthly billing, timely invoice submission, and effective collections.
• Oversee adherence to client SLAs and KPIs, ensuring contractual obligations are consistently met or exceeded.

• Build and nurture strong, strategic relationships with clients through regular meetings and proactive engagement.
• Conduct site visits to monitor staff performance and address client concerns effectively.
• Ensure service delivery aligns with contract scope, adjusting proactively to client needs and operational changes.
• Collaborate with clients to anticipate future workforce demands and ensure readiness for peaks and troughs in service requirements.
• Align staff scheduling with operational and contractual requirements.

• Lead and support the performance of on-site operations teams, ensuring alignment with Transguard SOPs.
• Facilitate team meetings, conduct regular site inspections, and provide guidance and mentorship to frontline teams.
• Resolve workforce issues in collaboration with HR, Transport, Recruitment, and Accommodation teams.
• Oversee the successful mobilization of staff, in accordance with client timelines and expectations.
• Monitor absenteeism, attrition, and overall employee performance, ensuring workforce stability and high morale.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, actively encouraging employee input and cross-functional collaboration.
• Devise training and development strategies to enhance employee performance and unlock potential.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
• Track employee achievements and performance for internal recognition programs (e.g., Employee of the Month).
• Champion staff engagement through motivation, feedback, and development initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• 5–7 years of experience in account management or operational roles within aviation, outsourcing, or a related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, reporting, billing, and contract profitability analysis.

• IATA or IOSH certification is advantageous.
• Familiarity with aviation or manpower planning environments is highly desirable.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (HR, Transport, Payroll, Recruitment, etc.).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
