Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting tasks, including ledger reconciliations, accruals, provisions and supporting schedules across multiple entities and currencies.
  • Coordinate month-end close, ensure accurate cost allocation, resolve outstanding reconciliations and maintain clear documentation for reviews and audits.
  • Oversee the procure-to-pay cycle from invoice validation and approval through payment, supplier reconciliation and resolution of vendor questions.
  • Monitor open purchase orders, ageing invoices, payment due dates, blocked invoices and outstanding liabilities to reduce delays and improve control.
  • Maintain vendor master data, coordinate banking activity and cash requirements, supervise junior team members and keep operating procedures and dashboards up to date.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Hold a CA, CMA, MBA in Finance or a comparable professional qualification.
  • Bring approximately five to six years of experience in accounting, procure-to-pay, vendor management or finance operations.
  • Knowledge of month-end closing, accounting principles, reconciliations, cash-flow planning, purchase controls and vendor-payment processes is important.
  • Experience in logistics, retail, supply chain or another operations-intensive environment is preferred; familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.
  • Use Excel, Power Query and reporting tools confidently, with strong accuracy, organization, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
