Job Description

Understand market trends and consumer requirements to effectively devise sourcing strategies and products developments.  Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers/partners.  Development of International brands.  Negotiate Purchase / Sale Contracts according to group guidelines in terms of quality, quality, price and payment terms with different suppliers in coordination with the management and legal advisors.  New products developments.  Cost effective alternative sourcing for own branded products.  Contribute to the demand planning, supply chain and logistics to ensure availability of products in time as per client’s request.  Function as a pivot between suppliers, customers and other internal stakeholders for continuous business flow, new business generation and issues resolution.  Market intelligence. Reporting to management and other internal stake holders.  

8 years’ experience in a commercial / marketing environment with good expertise on dealing with African countries environment as well as:  Good knowledge of market prices and payment instruments  Good knowledge of international brands common practices  Good knowledge on commodities products  Good knowledge on Supply chain and planning  Basic knowledge of international legal transactions  Good knowledge of MS Office
