Site Interior Designer

Job Overview DAR is seeking an experienced Site Interior Designer in Dubai to oversee interior works and ensure that construction activities reflect approved design drawings and specifications. The role combines design knowledge with site supervision, technical coordination, quality monitoring, and communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams. Previous UAE project experience is preferred.Key Responsibilities • Monitor interior works on site for compliance with approved drawings and specifications. • Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and related technical documentation. • Coordinate design-related matters with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams. • Identify site discrepancies, quality issues, and required design modifications. • Follow up on inspections, approvals, and corrective actions. • Track progress and provide updates to the project team. • Verify that approved materials and finishes are installed as specified. • Maintain records of site observations, instructions, and design correspondence. • Help resolve technical issues and ensure work meets quality standards and deadlines.Requirements and Qualifications A bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related discipline is required, along with at least five years of relevant experience including site supervision. UAE project experience is preferred. Candidates should understand interior finishes, materials, specifications, construction methods, shop drawings, and technical documentation.Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to interpret design drawings are important. Additional design software knowledge is an advantage.
