The Senior Manager – Mechanical (National Talent) leads mechanical engineering design and delivery across real-estate projects, supporting safe and reliable HVAC, plumbing, fire-protection and related systems. The role coordinates consultants and contractors, reviews technical submissions and helps ensure completion, commissioning and handover meet required standards.
Dubai Holding Real Estate seeks a dependable professional who can work collaboratively, exercise good judgement and help improve results over time. Solutions should be useful, secure and measurable, with appropriate human oversight and a clear understanding of data limitations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical-engineering scope from concept and design review through construction and handover.
- Review drawings, calculations, specifications, BIM models, material submissions and method statements.
- Coordinate MEP consultants, contractors, suppliers and testing or commissioning agencies.
- Monitor site progress, inspect work quality, resolve technical non-conformances and manage corrective actions.
- Ensure relevant code, authority, sustainability, safety and operational requirements are addressed.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, as-built records, O&M manuals, training, warranties and defect-liability close-out.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Substantial mechanical engineering experience on major real-estate or infrastructure developments.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire-protection systems, construction stages and authority approvals.
- Experience managing consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary interfaces.
- Strong technical review, leadership, commercial and stakeholder skills.
