Senior Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis

The Senior Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis supports business planning and financial decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and analysis. The role turns financial and operational information into useful insights for leaders, helping them understand results, identify risks and evaluate opportunities. The successful candidate will maintain reliable models and reports, explain variances clearly and work with stakeholders across departments to strengthen financial control and planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, financial models and regular management reports.
• Analyse actual performance against plan, identify key variances and explain the main drivers behind results.
• Work with business teams to collect assumptions, challenge inputs and build realistic financial outlooks.
• Develop dashboards and presentations that communicate trends, risks and recommendations to decision-makers.
• Improve reporting processes, data accuracy and planning tools while meeting reporting deadlines.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant experience in financial planning, management reporting, business analysis or a similar finance function.
• Degree or professional study in finance, accounting, economics or another quantitative business discipline is appropriate.
• Strong spreadsheet, modelling and data-analysis skills, with care for accuracy and auditability.
• Ability to communicate financial findings clearly and manage competing deadlines with internal stakeholders.
