Description
Sanchicago is seeking a Senior Accountant for its medical centre branch in Abu Dhabi. The position is based on site and is intended for an accounting professional who has already worked in a clinic, hospital or medical centre. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting activity, prepare financial information and keep reconciliations and month-end tasks under control. Knowledge of UAE VAT requirements is important, along with the ability to work confidently with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. The role requires accuracy and sound judgement when reviewing financial records.
This is a full-time, on-site role. A degree in Accounting or Finance and previous Accountant or Senior Accountant experience in a healthcare facility are required. The estimated salary is AED 8,000–12,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage routine accounting operations and maintain complete financial records.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules and supporting documentation for review.
- Monitor accounting activity for compliance with UAE VAT requirements.
- Perform account reconciliations and follow up on identified differences.
- Support month-end closing and maintain orderly accounting schedules.
- Use accounting software and Excel to record, organise and review financial data.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant.
- Experience in a medical centre, clinic or hospital is required.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and related compliance responsibilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and accuracy.
Role Details
Candidates should be able to work carefully with financial information in a healthcare environment and maintain records that can be checked and reviewed. Practical knowledge of reporting, reconciliation and closing procedures will be important. The vacancy is full time and requires on-site work at the Abu Dhabi branch.
