Sous Chef

The Sous Chef supports daily culinary operations at Four Seasons Dubai, helping lead the kitchen team and maintain consistent food quality, presentation and service standards. The role calls for strong culinary knowledge, leadership and the ability to work in a multicultural luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily kitchen management and supervise culinary colleagues during service.
• Maintain menu quality, recipe consistency and presentation standards.
• Work with the Executive Chef on menu development and new dishes.
• Coach and mentor junior kitchen staff and promote strong teamwork.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, portion control and efficient use of resources.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen workflow standards under pressure.

Requirements

• Proven Sous Chef experience in a luxury hotel or comparable operation.
• Strong knowledge of Asian and Latin American culinary techniques and flavors.
• Experience leading diverse culinary teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, creativity and flexibility for varied shifts.
