Pastry & Bakery Commis I

The Pastry & Bakery Commis I role provides hands-on kitchen support within Four Seasons' luxury hospitality operation. The position focuses on preparation, mise en place, station organization, cleanliness and consistent execution while working closely with experienced chefs and culinary colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned preparation and mise en place according to recipes and chef instructions.
• Support the kitchen section during service by preparing ingredients and maintaining an organized workstation.
• Follow portioning, presentation and food-quality standards.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils and work surfaces in line with food-safety procedures.
• Store, label and handle ingredients correctly to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Work cooperatively with chefs and other kitchen team members and remain responsive during busy service.

Requirements

• Relevant culinary training or practical kitchen experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and safe kitchen practices.
• Willingness to learn, attention to detail and a positive team attitude.
• Ability to work standing for extended periods and follow flexible hospitality schedules.
