Director of Catering

The Director of Catering leads the resort's catering and events business in Dubai, with responsibility for commercial growth, client relationships and flawless event delivery. The role covers luxury weddings, corporate functions and social events while coordinating sales, planning and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead catering and events sales activity to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
• Develop relationships with corporate clients, agencies, event planners and social customers.
• Create sales strategies and action plans to grow banquet and catering revenue.
• Oversee planning and execution of weddings, corporate events and other functions.
• Work closely with culinary, banquet and operations teams to deliver high service standards.
• Monitor business performance, pipeline activity and client satisfaction while supporting team development.

Requirements

• Strong experience in hotel catering, events, banquet sales or a comparable luxury hospitality environment.
• Commercial awareness with proven relationship-building and negotiation capability.
• Excellent communication, presentation, planning and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events, priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
