Manager – Cargo Operations

The Manager – Cargo Operations oversees safe, dependable cargo handling and warehouse-related performance in Dubai. The role coordinates handling partners, warehouse and ramp activity, unit load devices, palletized cargo and loading processes while maintaining agreed service levels. It calls for visible operational leadership, strong safety discipline and the ability to manage service providers and resolve issues quickly without losing sight of cost, capacity, on-time performance or regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Set operating objectives and implement procedures that support safe, efficient and consistent cargo handling.
• Monitor warehouse, ramp, loading and handling-partner performance against service, quality and turnaround targets.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, aviation safety rules, security controls and applicable technical requirements.
• Review operational data and incidents, investigate recurring problems and lead corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with flight operations, ground handlers, warehouse teams and commercial colleagues to manage capacity and disruptions.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant experience in airline or air-cargo operations and in coordinating operational partners.
• Ability to lead teams or service providers and manage performance against measurable safety and service objectives.
• Knowledge of cargo handling procedures, warehouse or ramp activity, equipment and relevant compliance requirements.
• Strong decision-making, reporting and stakeholder-management skills in a time-sensitive operating environment.
