LOGISTICS – AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURER

As a Logistics Manager at Minerva Special Purpose Vehicles (MSPV), you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the supply chain and logistics operations to ensure the seamless flow of materials and components for our automobile manufacturing processes. You will lead a team of professionals, manage distribution networks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production demands efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
2. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance to enhance team performance.
3. Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers to optimize lead times, quality, and cost-effectiveness of materials and components.
4. Inventory Control: Implement inventory control strategies to minimize carrying costs while ensuring materials are readily available for production.
5. Production Planning: Work closely with production managers to align logistics operations with production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of parts.
6. Transportation Management: Manage transportation and shipping activities, including route planning, carrier selection, and cost optimization.
7. Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze logistics costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing transportation and logistics.
9. Continuous Improvement: Implement lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes and reduce waste.
