Formwork Supervisor (Contracting background required)

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of carpenters, laborers, and operators to construct concrete structures.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Motivate the team to maintain high productivity and quality workmanship.
• Conduct regular safety meetings, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Perform site inspections to identify and control potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and manage hazardous activities.
• Supervise the installation, adjustment, and dismantling of various formwork systems .
• Monitor the quality, tolerances, and dimensional accuracy of cast-in-situ and precast elements.
• Oversee precast concrete operations, including mould preparation, casting, curing, and lifting.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate on developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage the logistics of materials, equipment, and labor to ensure timely and on-budget completion.
