- Participating in finalizing the R1000 study and 2020 Right of Way plans.
- Preparing and reviewing Cost sharing analyses for the projects.
- Responsible for liaising with developers and consultants regarding the RTA modelling needs and issues.
- Maintain and use a transportation computer traffic model (Visum).
- Perform and oversee regional transportation projects and programs.
- Preparing terms of reference for various newly initiated projects and studies.
- Accurately interpret and analyze environmental impact reports relating to transportation projects.
- Review and approve methodologies adopted to carry out the traffic impact studies.
- Establish positive working relationships with representatives of community organizations, state/local agencies, City management and staff, and the public.
- Updating and maintaining the RTA visum model while working closely with the developers of the model and area consultants.
- Review and comment various Traffic Impact Studies and Transportation Master Plans with respect to all of their modelling needs and issues.
- Responsible in R1000 study, Public Water Transport System (PWTS), LRT Ridership study, Dubai land Master Plan, Jabel Ali Airport City Master Plan and many others.
- Performs site visits for better understanding and facilitating the projects.
- Conduct various ongoing traffic impact studies, transportation master plans and projects.
- Identify, promote, implement new services, & improve existing services to internal & external customers.
- Perform difficult and complex assignments in transportation planning studies and projects.
- Conduct sub-area analyses of the developments.
- Maintaining and supervising the modelling and traffic impact studies reviewing fee collection system for the RTA
- Assemble and interpret traffic count and modelling data that apply to the completion of transportation planning programs.
- Supervise and assist in the compilation of economic, social, engineering and related data used in the analysis of transportation planning studies and projects.
- Analyse complex data and prepare concise, clear and effective reports
