OSA Supervisor

The On-Stream Analyzer Supervisor is the site focal point for all on-stream analyzers.

• Directly supervising and providing leadership to On-Stream Analyzer Team members with a strong emphasis on reliability and safety.
• Aligning On-Stream Analyzer activities/ goals with corporate strategy
• Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures
• •Set up priorities and provide required resources to the team to execute jobs safely, efficiently & on time
• Maintain good communication with key internal customer representatives and ensure that the On-Stream Analyzer Team is meeting the customer expectations
• To plan Budget for Operating & Capital Expenses and to ensure the activities are performed within this budget
• Develop, modify and monitor Key performance Indicators (KPIs) based on Key Result areas in alignment with corporate strategy
• Develop short & long term Business goals, monitor progress and take necessary actions to ensure the goals
• Maintaining and improving equipment reliability, cost effectiveness, productivity & developing safety culture in the team
• Ensure that all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner and support this by utilizing a high degree of technical competency, shared purpose and assist key personnel as required.
• To ensure training & development programs are in place and effective
• Determines analyzer equipment target performance and implement programs/procedures to maintain high availability for these equipment.
• Implementation of Industry Best practices & Benchmarking with similar industries
• Act as Management representative to communicate and implement company policies
• Performance monitoring for all team members and to make plans to improve performance & professional growth
• Work delegation, Job distribution and workload Assessment
• Recruitment of personnel
• Executing disciplinary actions against violators as per company policy
• To perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plan for Business Continuity
• Business process improvement by reviewing the process flows and debottlenecking
• Lead analyzer Projects and programs
• Involve in Audits, Investigations and walkthrough
• Review/ Approve procedures engineering standards and other business documents
• Provide Recommendations for management approvals
• Lead the On-Stream Analyzer team to achieve following in order to contribute to company's performance.
• Zero violations for Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Quality and Information Technology
• High Availability of On-stream Analyzers (OSA)
• High Quality of results produced by OSA to reduce give-away, better process control & safety functions
• Correlation with Lab results: Resulting in redundancy of results and reduction in Lab samples
• Zero violations for Analyzers related to Environment
• No overrun of approved Budget
• To add value to the company by implementing new ideas & Innovation
• To build and maintain trust by all the OSA stakeholders and to enhance communication
