Description
Job Purpose
The role is responsible for driving product development, positioning, and lifecycle management for the Home Finance (HF) portfolio. This includes ensuring Sharia compliance, strengthening institutional partnerships, and supporting business development initiatives. The position requires strong commercial acumen, innovation, and leadership to maintain HF products as market leaders in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Management
- Lead new product development and positioning based on market dynamics to ensure HF products remain competitive and innovative.
- Oversee lifecycle management of active products to maximize profitability and sustainability.
- Act as end-to-end system owner for all HF-related systems, ensuring seamless operations.
Brand & Marketing
- Drive brand development and marketing initiatives to enhance product positioning in the UAE Home Finance industry.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and market visibility.
Sharia Governance & Compliance
- Ensure Sharia governance across all products, processes, and services.
- Monitor adherence to approved policies, procedures, SLAs, and regulatory requirements to maintain quality standards and mitigate risks.
Partnership & Relationship Management
- Manage institutional partner relationships (e.g., Takaful providers, evaluators, vendors) to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with developers, POS partners, and third-party entities to increase business opportunities.
Business Development & Value Generation
- Lead initiatives to expand sales channels through developer relations, strategic alliances, and partnerships.
- Support the Business Value Generation (BVG) unit by providing insights and tools that enhance lead conversion for the Sales team.
Performance & Team Leadership
- Review team deliverables against approved KPIs, ensuring performance standards are met.
- Oversee execution of projects and tasks in compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and timelines.
Competencies & Skills
Qualifications
- MBA or Postgraduate degree in Business from a recognized institution.
Experience
- 4–6 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in product management and marketing.
