What you'll do:

Air Conditioning Systems

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including split units, VRF systems, and ducted units.
• Diagnose faults and carry out troubleshooting to restore functionality quickly.
• Clean and replace filters, fans, and coils to ensure efficient operation.

Cold Room Systems

• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on cold rooms and refrigeration units.
• Ensure consistent temperature control to meet storage requirements for perishable goods.
• Identify and resolve issues such as refrigerant leaks, compressor failures, and sensor malfunctions.
• Perform defrosting operations and ensure proper airflow within cold storage units.

Preventive Maintenance

• Develop and adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule for all AC and refrigeration systems.
• Regularly inspect equipment to identify and address potential issues before failure occurs.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure all HVAC and refrigeration systems comply with local safety and environmental regulations.
• Handle refrigerants responsibly, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
• Follow safety protocols when working with electrical components, refrigerants, and heavy equipment.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and service activities.
• Provide detailed reports to the Facility Manager on system performance and any required upgrades.

What you'll need:

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in refrigeration or HVAC systems (e.g., EPA, F-Gas certification) are a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance, preferably in retail, warehousing, or cold storage environments.
• Proven expertise in maintaining cold rooms, chillers, and freezer units.
• Valid UAE Driving license is must.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, HVAC systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for refrigeration and AC systems.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
