Job Description:
Vodafone is embarking on a long term strategy to re-define carrier buying globally, the successful candidate will deliver savings and lead ongoing cost management within this multibillion euro spend portfolio. You will be part of an energetic team with whom you will drive the execution of Vodafone’s global strategy for buying and procuring leased lines, fixed line access and wholesale line rental. You will build close and valuable relationships with both Group and local partners, create efficiencies, deliver market leading carrier management and performance improvements across all carrier products
Job Requirements:
- Change management mind-set with successfully initiating and implementing major change programs in challenging environments
- Demonstrable track record of building and leading high performing teams including virtual teams
- Previously built and scaled up new line of business within a global organisation
- Develop acquisition, sourcing strategies and plans enabling the global and local Leased Lines business strategy
- Build strong Stakeholder relationships, challenge status quo and lead improvements across the end-to-end value chain
- Lead Direct Negotiation with Carriers to realise value and savings for the local market and ensure timely execution of negotiations and sourcing strategies meeting targets
- Provide relevant inputs into Leased Lines business strategies, roadmaps, plans and budgeting & forecasting process
- Lead the central negotiation of commercial terms & conditions and contracts with carriers and drive centralisation of Leased Lines spend into VPC while delivering measurable benefits to local markets
- Drive consolidation and transformation activities across the carrier supply chain and the innovation of commercial and contracting models
