Job Description:

You will be the 1st line of cyber defence, i.e. incident detection & threat hunting with overall responsibility for identification, triaging, alerting, tracking and escalation of Security incidents

Job Requirements:

• You will maintain ongoing compliance with Group Technology Security policies and standards, and industry standards and best practices
• You will maintain the Technology Security Operations dashboard
• You will liaise with Business / Data Owners and Corporate Security to identify new applications/servers/services and evolving Security Monitoring needs
• You will prepare Business Cases to request and justify Security monitoring investment
• You will build productive working relationship with other business functions
• You will be responsible for Security log collection, correlation, monitoring, alerting and archival
• You will set up regular vulnerability scan and uses the results to intelligently enhance security log monitoring and incident response
• You will work closely with Group Cyber Defence Operations, Vodafone Shared Services India, and other Managed Security Services Providers to ensure detection capabilities are fine-tuned, and incidents are detected in the shortest possible time, to minimize the potential harm to Vodafone
• You will monitor reputable Security Intelligence sources e.g. CERT, SANS StormCenter, major software vendors etc
